Services

Teacher Resources

Did you know that we offer educator cards with extended loan periods? These cards are offered to teachers, homeschooling parents, and day care staff members. We hope this service will allow you to provide quality materials to your pupils, while reducing the worry of reaching the maximum lending limits on your personal account. For more information see our guidelines here:

Educator Card Guidelines

If you have a project coming up you can contact the children's librarians by calling 440.926.3317 or emailing gmplkids@gmail.com to have books pulled for your class.

Children's Librarians are also available to visit your classroom. We are more than happy to give booktalks, introducing students to great new materials, including graphic novels and audiobooks. We can talk to your class about our homework resources, give a presentation on navigating the catalog, or discuss how to successfully search for information on any of our databases. You can call or email us to inquire about a classroom visit. See the PDF document attached to this page to see educator card details.

Notary Services

The Grafton-Midview public Library offers free Notary Public services for the benefit of the residents of our communities. Library notaries are scheduled to work during regular hours of operation, but we do not guarantee that a Notary is on staff at all hours. Library notaries do not notarize real estate documents.  Please call us at 440.926.3317 to verify if a notary is present.

Passport Services

The Library makes it easier to plan your next trip. Passport processing and photos are available at GMPL by appointment during hours of operation on Monday - Sunday. Walk in appointments will be considered as passport agent schedules allow. Additionally, we can help you find important travel information including destination guidance and foreign language tutorials. Please visit the U.S. Department of State Passport site  or call the library for complete information on what you need to bring to apply for a passport.

If you are traveling internationally you might be able to use the Mobile Passport Control app, available from US Customs and Border Patrol (Apple/Android)

Tech Tutor

Tech Tutor appointments are 1-on-1 classes with Information staff. Contact the Library by phone at 440.926.3317  or visit the Information Desk to register.  Information Desk staff is always available during library hours to help with computer and technology questions, both basic and advanced. The Grafton-Midview Public Library encourages patrons with any questions to visit/call/email the library to get answers to computer and technology questions.  More advanced or complex support might require an additional Tech Tutor appointment(s).
