Virtual Anime & Manga Society Tuesday, March 9, 5 PM Please join Crystal on Zoom for a meet-up and the chance to catch up with other members while viewing Anime. Registration is required with an email address to receive the link for Zoom. Participants who register early, may pick up a bag of Anime snacks starting Tuesday, March 2. For teens ages 12 - 18. Book Bundle Bonanza Friday, March 19, 4 PM Find new favorites with our children's book bundles! Each book bundle contains a variety of books, activities, and crafts based on a surprise theme, all hand-selected by your favorite librarians. One book bundle per family please. You'll need your library card to check out a book bundle. YA Book Bundles Monday, March 22, 12 PM Need something to read for spring break? Sign up for a YA Book Bundle. Book Bundles include several Library books geared around a loose theme along with other goodies. Pick up your book bundle starting Monday, March 22 at 12 PM. YA books are recommended for ages 12+. Content will not be screened during selection. Stay at Home Scavenger Hunt Thursday, March 25, 5 PM Our virtual scavenger hunt is back and bigger than ever. How fast can you find your favorite book around the house? Something blue? Something that has wheels? Your family could win all the bragging rights! Please include an email when registering to receive a Zoom invitation. Virtual Monthly Book Club Thursday, March 25, 7 PM Join us on Zoom for a lively and engaging discussion of March's featured title, The Moonshiner's Daughter by Donna Everhart. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and is open until 2 days before the event. Pick up copies of the book at the Library or by using our contactless Take Out service. Contact Maureen at the Library for questions relating to this club. Family Binge Boxes Friday, March 26, 4 PM Settle in for a cozy movie marathon with one of our binge boxes. Register your family for a binge box containing 4 to 6 movies, snacks, and activities based on a surprise theme. One binge box per family please. You need a library card to check out a binge box. Space Lander Challenge Tuesday, March 30, 4 PM Build a space lander so your astronauts can land safely on the Moon! Future astronauts in grades 4-12 can join us for this Zoom program with Sally Hennessey from the Lorain County OSU Extension Office. Participants may pick up the supplies for the program beginning Monday, March 15 at 12 PM. Because the date (3.14) is the first three digits of pi (3.14159...), we take time to celebrate the circle on March 14th of each year. Try to solve our "pi problems" and test your sleuthing skills in this digital escape room "Breakout for Pi Day." This Escape Room is recommended for elementary and middle school grades, however, anyone is welcome to participate. Visit the teen website to participate. Homeschool Series Wednesdays, March 10, 17, 24, 10 AM This month we are inviting homeschoolers to explore weather and the outdoors. Sally Hennessey from the OSU extension office will lead more great S.T.E.M. activities! Kits are placed in the vestibule a week before the first session for you to pick up. Register early to reserve your kit and receive your Zoom link. Please register each child separately to ensure each child gets a kit.
